Ravioli

This is for Auntie Steph.  Because we finally made ravioli!  We used the cutters that she gave us.

We also used this old pasta machine that Mom has had for a long time.  It worked really well, though, once we had it figured out.

We used a recipe that we found on the internet, I think, because we lost the recipe Auntie Steph gave us.

It was alot of fun making them.  Clara and I eventually figured out a good system, like an assembly line.

We also made fettucine with the leftover pasta dough, when there wasn't any of the cheese filling left.

The ravioli made a really yummy Valentine's dinner!

WOW!!! Does that look great! (and so delicious too!) I feel quite honored to have a blog post for me. I am so glad that you got out your mom's pasta maker - remember, you can always call me if you aren't sure how to use it or need a recipe. But your recipe looks yummy and those are wonderful raviolis that you made. I bet they tasted good too. Makes me want to go and make some myself. Congratulations. I hope you make them more often and now you have an additional item to serve to guests! (Great idea for a sleepover activity, don't you think???!!)
Love to all,
Auntie Steph

That would be fun for a sleepover activity! Especially now that we know how to do it...
