This weekend we had a carwash to help raise money for Amy's second year at the Honor Academy. A couple of other interns came and it was raising money for them too. At first it was rainy, but then the storm cleared up and we were able to wash 30 cars in all. We are now sunburned, and afterwards we were rather sore and tired, but it was fun to have Amy home and get to know her friends.

On Saturday we went to the wedding of some friends and afterwards stopped at a huge bookstore in Denton.

This morning Mom, Clara and I drove down to Teen Mania to pick up Amy. She'll be staying for 5 days. She'll be here for the ECC graduation, and for the Memorial Day cookout we're having on Monday.
We're really glad she's home. The last time we saw her was in March!
